After living and working in the Pittsburgh MSA for many years, I have decided it is time to leave and face new challenges in a new and exciting market. To do so, I am seeking to make the transition from graphic designer to Art or Creative Director.

In my time with Trib Total Media, I have helped both the company and my clients move beyond what was typically considered newspaper advertising with specialized tabs, single card inserts and direct mail pieces. My innovative and award winning ideas, designs and sales strategies have brought success to my company with lineage increases, new revenue postings in 2005 in excess of $830,000 and numerous new contracts signed annually, all the while maintaining contracted accounts valued at over $4.5 million.

With a supportive management team I have had the opportunity to grow and learn the publishing industry. As a paginator, I was able to learn pagination and scheduling using various classified software. As a designer in the Classified Sales Department, I work directly with clients and account executives to develop out-of-the-box ideas; to develop and price new products; and work with our marketing staff to create in-house campaigns and readership contests. I have taken every chance to increase my knowledge base, whether it be knowledge of sales, layout design or co-op, and in turn use that knowledge to further the success of the company. 

My time with Trib Total Media has allowed me to add my talents at the ground floor when the company published one daily newspaper and assist in the growth of the company into the media company it is today. My designs and influences can now be seen in 7 daily newspapers, 24 weekly newspapers, 4 magazines and numerous websites. Working as part of the sales team, I have demonstrated the importance of not only meeting, but exceeding the expectations and needs of both the client and the Trib Total Media.
